Because the Chuck-It Indoor Balls I purchased were on sale, only the larger size was available. Therefore, I thought my BC's might not be able to pick them up & carry them around in their mouths. However, even my smallest BC figured out how to do so. They're just like Nerf Balls. So they're great for indoor use. Being very light weight they won't knock anything over when thrown. Unlike some very small, light weight, counterpart, indoor balls, the Chuck-It Indoor Ball, are slower & the dogs don't go sliding after them on the wooden floors. :-)))

This ball was fantastically popular for tug-of-war between my 1-year-old German Shepherd and my 12-year-old Dalmatian/Lab. It lasted for about a month of destructive play but I was frequently trimming off shreds of string and checking that they hadn't bitten through to the core. The design needs improvement because the weakest spot is the Velcro tab where you can attach it to a launcher. They pulled on this and tore into the center. Nevertheless, I am buying another one because they had extreme fun with it while it lasted!

She is fetch obsessed and I don't have to worry when it bounces off the wall, furniture or glass. She is under 13.0 lbs but is still tuff on her toys. She loves the texture and the squish of the ball when she bites down on it. She finally broke off a piece that now rattles inside the ball when I throw it, but it still works. Ordered another one so she'll have one to play with when I clean the other.

My dog is a chewer and I have been very pleased with other Chuckit! toys I have purchased as they have a well deserved reputation for durability. The indoor toy is different. Within minutes of playing with the ball, the shag started coming off and my dog started throwing it up.

My large sheltie loves this ball. It has held up against him well, and he plays with it constantly. It has a different feel to it when he bites down than other balls, kinda like foam I guess? Not sure, but durable and different, which I'm always looking for in toys. He would have loved it even more if it squeaked, but that can be a plus, too! I does make a soft wooshing noise that the dog can hear, but I only hear if I'm holding it near my ear. And of course, it's great for indoors as it's soft and I'm not afraid of it damaging walls, furniture, glass etc when i throw it. Overall, great toy for indoors.
