packaging change

I love the quick mixability of Coralife salt. Unfortunately, they've changed their packaging tho... 50 gallon bags are only sold as individual items now. The buckets will have loose salt and the boxes will have two 100 gallon salt bags. So, we can no longer purchase this salt in bulk sizes with the 50 gallon bags. That's a huge bummer because it's already expensive and now it will be too expensive if you need 50 gallon bags. :(

Yes, I recommend this product.

I've been using this salt mix after having a lot of issues with other brand. Sometimes I would end up with flakes due to calcification. Took way too long for water to clear after mixing, So I tried other brand's ..this one clears in minutes but I wait an hour before doing my wc. I also like that cal, alk and ph levels are closer to my tank parameters.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have been using Coralife Marine Salt for awhile now, and I really do not see any difference than when I used an expensive brand. I do recommend it.

We love this salt. Used for 15+ years

This is the salt we started reefing with over 15 years ago. Once we decided to try another and that was a Huge mistake. Switched back to coralife and everything bounced right back. The only thing I have ever found out of whack is the calcium is always high. That is a good thing growing corals with skeletons though. It has never been TOO high, just had to watch what I dose. We have a 55 gall softie/anemone tank, 160 gal seahorse softy, nps tank, a 155 gal mixed reef and a 220 gal mixed reef. No stores sell it local anymore, thankfully I can add something to my order with a box and get free shipping!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good and convenient salt with some minor issues

The salt is very good. The bags make it easy to generate new saltwater. The peanuts around the bucket are unnecessary and get all over the place when I pull out the bucket from the box. It is somewhat hard to get the lid off of the bucket, but multiple cut say about ever 6 inches with a hack saw make this much easier.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Salt at a Low Price

Been using this salt for 20 years. Dissolves clean, no dirt floating on the top after mixed, cup and a half @ 79 degrees get you 1.023 every time. Use to use expensive Tropic Marin for years. For the high cost found it was not worth it since we all add chemicals to the water anyway. Try it think you will like it!

Yes, I recommend this product.
