Tubes too big

Theres a tube for the filter that is actually too big and for mine it pushes the lid up keeping it from fitting right.Also If you try to push it under the lid it doesnt pump enough and the water gets dirty as if there wasnt a filter

is this good for the turtles to climb on and is there a size restriction as in is it good for bigger turtles?
- Theres a tube for the filter that is supposed to come out of the hole as a waterfall. The tube is actually too big and mine keeps the lid from fitting properly and he cant climb on it.ust get a basking dock instead
