- Thank you for your question. One strip is sufficient for a fish only aquarium.

How many bars do I need for reef tank 120 gallons
- Thank you for your question. If you have plants or corals in your aquarium, there is some research you will have to do to determine a suitable LED fixture. You will need to determine the PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) requirements for the plants or corals, this will require some online searching as we are in the process of compiling this information for customers (this is the most accurate way to determine this, we do have some general guidelines we have provided below as well). Then you will need to compare that information to the PAR information available for the fixture you are interested in to determine if it will be suitable. A General Guideline of PAR: -Freshwater and Marine Plants (20-200 PAR) -Low light level Corals (60-150 PAR) Most Polyps and Mushroom Corals -Moderate light level Corals (100-300 PAR) Most LPS and Leather Corals -High light levels (250-500 PAR)- Most SPS Corals -Intense Light (500-800 PAR)- Very shallow water Acropora spp.

How many of these would be needed for a 55 gallon LPS/Softie tank?
- IMO all you would need is one, might have to put LPS corals up a little higher in the tank.

Is this the replacement for Fluval Sea Marine/Reef 2.0 LED?
- RayGFL, Thank you for your question. The 3.0 LED is an upgrade to the 2.0 LED fixture. They both have 168 LEDS, and is enough for your corals.
