I picked this up to hide the cords on one of my betta tanks. It's large enough to cover the backs of two small tanks (and I used it on both!) and accepts pen marks fairly easily to mark it for trimming. Even though it's plastic coated, I didn't have any trouble with it slipping during cutting. It looks very nice on both my tanks (one glass and one acrylic) and despite not being very well secured still looks very bright and colorful. It remained waterproof even after being cut, with no water getting in between the plastic coatings when rinsed. The issue that i found with this, though, is that it's rolled. The plastic holds the curl of the roll a lot better than I'd like--I've tried several methods to flatten it and have yet to find one that works. This means that it fights any attempt to stick it down. Tape, sealant, and little 3M sticky squares have all been defeated so far, but I like these backgrounds enough that I intend to keep trying.

Yes, I recommend this product.
