Issues with 2 out of 2 bulbs

I've used Hamilton Tech for many years without any problems. The last order of two 250 W, 10K bulbs was a disappointment. One bulb flickered from bright to dim immediately after installation. The second began to do the same after about one week. Still waiting for the replacements so I'm still hopeful Hamilton Tech can redeem themselves.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great bulb when you want more of a natural light, more blue color. Corals respond very well and develop great color.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bulb

  1. Thank you for your question. It is not recommended to place a 150W bulb in a 250W ballast, as the bulb will not last as long as it should.

Aquarium Lighting

  1. Thank you for your question. The ballast for the bulbs is rated for 120 Volt 60 Hz, which is the standard for the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Unfortunately, these bulbs will not run at 220 Volt 50Hz, which is the standard for the United Arab Emirates. We apologize that these bulbs are not available in the requested configuration.
