Our birds love this as a treat. I fill their foraging toys and they go after it right away. Strong but not unpleasant odor. Our birds seem to love all the colors.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Our African Grey, 2 Lovebirds and a Sun Conure all love the quality and flavor of this extruded food pellet. BUT none of the birds like the green pellets! Don't know why, but it's all they leave in their bowls! I hope that Higgins will work on this issue :)

Yes, I recommend this product.

why do the african grey parrrots not like the green color food?

  1. Birds have much sharper color vision than humans; however, it depends on the bird. If you're referring to pellets, some birds don't like yellow, others don't like red. If your birds eat green foods such as broccoli or zucchini and are otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry about it. They might just be picky eaters.
