- No Its fine for fish only also.

Are the buckets usable for storage? The old buckets had rubber gaskets and were threaded for closing.

how much pounds would i need for a 50 gallon tank?

How many gallons does the bucket hold?
- Well the bucket will mix up to 160 gallons I believe. I assume that's prob with a salinity of around 1.024-1.025. The "box" of salt should mix up around 200 gallons. I usually get the 200 gallon box, but sometimes I'm in need of an extra bucket, so I will get the 5 gallon (160 gallon mix) so that I can have the bucket once it's empty.

can I use water from a dehumidfier for my water changes?
- Hi Lee and you didn't say what sort of tank? Reef would be a no but I use dehumidified water for my orchids. When I look through the container of this water I see many contaminates floating around that I am not sure what they are. If you use aerosols, fry food or smoke all of those are possible sources of contaminates. So personally I wouldn't recommend it. Happy tanking.

Using this with neutral water
- ph will be fine no buffering material needed .i would recommend water filtration for home water to remove chemicals & nutrients.

Can water from well to be use with RC
- I live on a well and have been using this salt for years with no issues at all. I would recommend that you get an RO/DI unit if you don't have one.

Is the 50 gallon bag resealable?
- Not that I'm aware of. You can get a 5 gallon bucket/pail with lid from Home Depot or Lowe's to store the opened bag in to keep moisture and the like out. Try and get the one that has a lid with a rubber seal in it (white in color). This is what I do and I haven't had any issues at all.
