Ok if you plan to add on to it or connect another cage

This cage is a bit small and does not have much room for many accessories. I could only fit my hamsters hideout, food tray, and wheel, only because it attaches to the cage, a water bottle, and the water bottle that came with the cage, but I only use it to cover the hole that is on the roof of the cage because it leaks a lot. Overall its a good cage if you plan to expand it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I liked this habitat when I first bought. It had everything I needed for my first hamster but be warned your little friend can escape this cage. There are holes on the side for if you wish to expand the habitat with tubes which is nice but the coverings for these holes are not secure. Little paws can knock them loose and they can get out. My hamster had done this twice now and luckily with the help of my dog I have been able to find her both times. Fair warning, the cage is great but not secure and no one wants their little friend to run away.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this good for a rat?
- I would not recommend it. I bought this cage for my Robo hamster and the cage is a bit small. I could only fit his hideout, which takes up around half of the space, the wheel that came with it and his food tray, which doesn't allow him much room to run around. The water bottle is not that good either, I had to buy another one, I just leave it in the cage to cover the hole that is on the roof of the cage. If you do buy this cage I do recommend that you buy tubes to connect add on to the cage. I did this and I even connected another cage and now my hamster has plenty of room to be active and have fun. I hope this helps
