My dog has allergies to Peanuts/Nuts and this Sweet potato spread is a healthy and easy to substitute for use on her chew toys/treats. There is no sticky residue left and Sandy-pup loves it. The spread started out as a training treat and progressed to just a nightly treat on her rawhide chew. I generally have always had large dogs and they all seem to want to chew on appropriate chew items and some inappropriate ones as well. For this Chiweenie mix rescue I needed to encourage chewing (not something she wanted to do) during and after teething for healthy gums and teeth, it has been a success. My only suggestion as it does have to be refrigerated is that the Refrigerated portion was in larger lettering on the product.
