I originally bought a cage at PetCo. Decided that I wanted a bigger one and ordered on line since it was 50% cheaper. The cage was 50% cheaper as well. The metal was not as thick bent easily. :o(

Purchased this crate as a travel crate for the cat who needs to have a litter box in with him. It is the perfect size for my vehicle. It was very easy to assemble and just right for this pupose. The doors open out rather than up which is an advantage when traveling. I don't need the divider but I think it's a good idea. The cat has been sitting in it while it is by my front door so I guess he is happy too.

This crate was well built and easy to assemble. I love that it can be folded up for on the go purposes and there are rollers on the bottom so it doesn't scratch up my floor.

I order this crate as 24x18x19 for pets 11-25 lbs, however the width is actually 17 and not 18. Also,my 15.5 lb puppy sits up inside now with her head smashed into the top of the crate. I don't see how she could possibly fit in this crate by the time she weighs even 20 lbs. It has been a great crate for the past 3 months, very sturdy, but looks like I'll have to get a bigger one sooner rather than later!

I love my new bedroom. I go in at night willingly and have even surprised Mom by being in there already when she's ready to put me to bed! It is the perfect size for my 20 lb. self and will be great when we go camping. Mom said it was the best price out there, so she's happy too.

- I would buy the small iCrate. I have had the iCrates for YEARS. They have 2 doors and are collapsable for easy carrying in case you need to take them with you. I love them! Good price and good quality! Look for them on this site and pair it with a sale or coupon code. Super cheap and great product!

What kind of exercise pen fits this crate? And how do you attach the exercise pen to crate?
- Any of the welded wire ex-pens will attach to any wire crate. The pen comes with clips to either close the pen or attach each end to your wire crate so you end up with a confinement space outside the crate door. A perfect place to confine puppies or small dogs that may need their resting spot and potty pads for a long day.

How sturdy is this crate? Will it handle a destructive dog?
- I had the small size and did not think the doors would suffice. The latches left 1/2" for the door to click and wobble and would have encouraged my dog to play with them. I think my dog would have figured out how to get out so I returned this crate. If your dog is young, it will need an extra long dose of exercise before you crate it [to burn off the nervouse energy]. Even my 8 year old Maltese gets a good walk before it is crate time. Try getting a crate that is labeled 'heavy duty' and pay the extra for a sturdy crate to start out. I give my dog Kong toys with food inside for something to do.

- At 7 weeks, it's hard to say, but I have Yorkies that range from 5-8 lbs. fully grown, and I purchased the x-small double door icrate.
