My rabbit loved his Christmas present. We upgraded to this cage and he has more room, we can open the doors easily, and clean up is a snap!!

This cage was simple to put together and fast....only took a few minutes to do. I was concerned that the size would be small, but looks like it well be perfect for the newest addition to our family. I added a second level and just have the ramp to put in and she will have her new home ready for when we bring her home.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this rabbit cage specifically because it folds flat when not in use. I needed something to keep Bunny in when it was too hot or cold outside for him to be comfortable. This will be ok, but the tray is small so I know we will have to put another larger tray under the whole cage to keep from having a mess on the floor. Also, the wire floor is a bit annoying to get in and out, but once installed, the crate is somewhat sturdy. I wouldn't use this as a "forever" bunny home, not only because it is flimsy and the pan is too small, but it is also not big enough for adequate moving around. But all in all, it will suit my purpose but I wish it was easier to set up and take down and sturdier. The price was good.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product is great! Large doors make it a breeze to care for your pet. Set up took a little longer than a few seconds as advertised but not too bad.

Upon receiving my cage, I found that the plastic tray had been broken. I called the customer service number found on the manual and in 5 minutes I had another tray on the way. This was pretty easy to put together and even easier to clean(which was the reason for the purchase). My rabbit is happier and cleaner because of this cage.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Cage!

Cage was easy to put together with no tools at all, tray makes this cage very easy to clean waste, I would recommend urine guards to keep waste from going outside the cage. Very large and roomy for my dwarf lop rabbit, she loves it and made herself at home very quickly. Access doors nice and large, easy access to my bun when needed. Would highly recommend this cage. Great price also and very fast shipping.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Better than my old cage but needs improvement

I have mixed feelings on this cage. It is definitely better than our old cage because the floor is further away from the waste tray so it seems like a cleaner environment for the bunny and cage is a bit larger (especially in the height). It was O.K. to put together, there was a bit of frustration with trying to get the bottom to hook into the sides. It seems pretty stable for a collapsible cage. I would not try to move it around too much though. But after 1 month the black "waste" tray is already cracked in one corner. I don't know if it came damaged and has broken off, but the tray does seem flimsy compared to my old one.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This cage was easy to set up. My rabbit was right at home in short order. The supplemental litter pan is a must. Makes cleaning much easier.

Can the mesh floor be used without the wire walls? My rabbit is clumsy but likes to jump up to the top of the cage so I need to remove the cage.

  1. What a rabbit! The mesh floor comes separate with the cage body, so it can be use separately.

can aenglish spot rabbit fit in this cage

  1. The Wabbitat Model 151 is 25"L x 19"W x 20"H and is recommended for small and dwarf breed rabbits. The English Spot is a medium breed rabbit.

can you put 2 rabbits in this cage?

  1. No...barely large enough for one small rabbit. They need more room than this.

Is there a way to remove the wire/mesh floor?

  1. the mesh floor could be left off during assembly

can the door be taken off?

  1. The door can be removed with a pair of pliers?

Will the wire at the bottom of the cage give a rabbit/small animal bumblefoot?

  1. As long as you put a resting mat on a portion of the flooring that will help prevent the sore hock issue with rabbits.

What is the shipping size and weight of this cage? Of course that i meen the size of the box that the cage comes in when it is shipped. Thanks

  1. its about 2ft x 4ft box and weighs maybe 10 lbs

whats a good size cage for a hotot bunny?

  1. I have a 24x15 inch, and that's big enough. Though it could be smaller, I recommend this size because bunnies love to jump around.

what is the door opening size in inches on the midwest wabbit rabbit cage

  1. Side door opening and top hatch opening are both 16" x 11"

Will you need bedding for this cage because i am getting it for a rabbit?

  1. I use a bed/mat in one corner, and a litter pan in another corner. Spacing in the wire floor is tight enough so that his feet do not get caught, and he is fine. As in any cage, the key in any cage is to have a bed for resting and sleeping.
