As our puppy grew and her puppy food portions increased, she seemed to develop a sensitivity to her recommended puppy food. We gradually changed her diet to a lamb and rice dry puppy food we knew would be gentler on her digestive system and she's had no digestive problems since. When it came time to finding a healthy puppy treat for her, I was happy to find this limited-ingredient lamb and rice treat at Drs Foster and Smith. Our pup loved the flavor, and I was happy knowing we were giving her naturally balanced, healthy treats. She's now a year and a half old, and still loving these treats - anytime I'm next to her countertop treat jar, she's so excited she can barely sit still enough to receive her treat! The treat's size is perfect and she's old enough to easily chew one all at once, but I break the treat in half to encourage more thorough chewing... and have the treats last a little longer.
