My parents got the Black Oil Sunflower seeds in a timely fashion (birthday). It's hard to figure out what to get yer 80 year old folks, when they are in the "Less is More" stage of life. They love feeding and watching their backyard birds. Last time I sent a 50 pound sack of seed from somewhere. They had to get a neighbor to lug it in the house. This time I got several smaller sacks from y'all. It cost more money, but less wear and tear on my daddy's back. Thanks

This product is a high value treat. The blue jays, big and little birds and the squirrels love this. I had to put a baffle over the feeder to discourage the squirrels.

I have flocks of doves, finches, sparrows and all kinds of other birds...scrub jays, towhees that all love these sunflower seeds. I get the size that is most economical the day I shop. Sometimes the smaller bags are cheaper. Of course, the squirrels love them, too. And the roof rats. I put the seeds out early in the morning and by evening there is nothing left to attract the night creatures. I can't leave any in feeders or the roof rats will chew though anything to get to them.

Quick, easy and cheap if you go here then link though Amazon. The birds seem to like most of it although they do throw a lot of the seeds out. They have done that with other brands also.

i use this food with my chinchilla because he only likes to eat sunflower seeds. he loves these!
