Have had my first Pondmaster pump since 2006 and other than changing the diaphragm every two or three years it has been trouble free. This pump is the very highest quality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it . Last year instead of changing out the rubber parts inside I bought another brand of pump. It was wimpy and less than a year later it quit working. Won't make that mistake again!

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a replacement unit and my "pond guy" was very impressed with the quality and output. He had purchased my original one. It's working great and my koi love it!! Since it runs 24/7, I wanted to make sure it was durable.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Our pond is approx 6000 gal with about 12 large koi. We had one of these previously and it didn't last but 1 year. Works great but hoping will last longer than the first one.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I think you should sell a hose fits this pump, because the 3/4" off the shelf is to small.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I can not say for sure but given the size and output as well as the output nozzles size that these may be the same as the DY-40 that went bad on me after two winters here in Chicago. This pump puts out a lot and I think for a medium to small sized pond they work very well. I have 4 larger sand stones being about 4 foot down. I would not hesitate to buy this pump again as it seems to be a very good value next to the prices of some other pumps I have seen. 5 stars should say all you need to know.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Air Check Valve

  1. Thank you for your question. We do not have specific specifications for the check valve, you should use what you are most comfortable with. The check valves we offer are suitable for this application.

I just placed an order for the Pondmaster Deep Water AP-40 air pump to use this winter in southeast Ohio.

  1. Thank you for your question. The AP-40 would work just fine in your pond.

Could you tell me the amps used in the ap-60 and ap-100 air pumps.

  1. Thank you for your question. The AP-60 uses 0.75 amps and the AP-100 uses 1.5 amps.

AP-40 CFM

  1. Thank you for your question. The CFM for this product is 1.67.

Does this pump run on 110 or 220 volt?

  1. 110

Pondmaster100

  1. Thank you for your question. The instructions state that you need to use 3/4" ID tubing so you would need connectors for 3/4" ID tubing, each device should have fittings on them. Choosing air stones comes down to personal preference.

My Pondmaster 100 aeration pump stopped working and I lost koi, what should I do for this year?

  1. Thank you for your question. There are a few options, recommending a particular product can be difficult, not knowing all of the details about your situation. You may want to try an aeration pump and/or a pond heater. Aeration does help keep ponds from freezing but it only lowers the freezing temperature of the water and does not stop the water from freezing.

I bought the pondmaster 40

  1. Thank you for youir question. The manufacturer actually packs a diffuser in each of the AP pumps, it looks like a rake and can be used directly in the pond and would be more than adequate.

have 2 ap-100 pond master that will not start-up and run
