Had a Littermaid that died after three years and I replaced it with another littermaid that died at about three years out because of a broken tooth on a sprocket. Couldn't get a replacement or offer so I tried out the superscoop. Took the cat a couple of days to get into it but now he is in it. We've had for about three weeks now and it is silent and odorless.

it's definitely an improvement from having a regular litter box, but alas it's perfect - cat's feces and still wet litter tend to stick to the cleaning grid, so i wonder how long it would last without cleaning. still on my first month trial period. my cat seems to like it though.

I have only had this automatic scooper a few weeks but so far it seems to be working well. My 5 year old cat adjusted just fine to it and best of all, after 3 weeks, there is still no cat urine odor!! Not sure how it will be in the long run.... perhaps I shall update my review in 6 months.

This litter box is PERFECT for avoiding the traditional smelly task of cleaning the litter box. However, be prepared for the expense-we have two 1year old cats using ours and the tray needs replaced about every 10 days. Although expensive to maintain , the convenience is WELL worth it!

I purchased the ScoopFree Automatic Cleaning Litter Box after reading all the great reviews on Petco for this product. I love it! I have 3 cats and before I purchased the Scoop Free, I was cleaning two litter boxes every day. Now I go 8 days without smelling litter or needing to change it. It is so easy to refill the box. Did not have any problems with the cats getting used to the blue crystals. They used it right away. I think they love the clean litter box all the time, although one of the cats is fascinated with the rake! He waits for it to move!

I love it! but even more, my kittens LOVE IT! I am not sure how we lived before we got this litter box. At 1st I was worried about them learning to use the new box, it has strange blue litter and the feel of the litter is strange and nothing like the normal litter they used. My kittens are 1.5 years old, brother and sister. They used clumping litter before, and my little girl was very picky about her box being clean. If she ever felt that the box was not clean she would go outside the box. I got the new ScoopFree litter box and as I was unpacking it both kids stood and watched me. As soon as I had the box on the floor and plugged in they got into a fight about who would use it 1st. Both kids jumped into the box, but the girl won and pushed her brother out. She got to be the 1st to use the new ScoopFree box, no sooner then she was done and her brother was pushing her out so he could use the new box. All of my worries about the kids having any issue with learning the use the new litter box went out the window. The kittens LOVE IT..... I have not had one issue with my little girl going outside the litter box since getting this new ScoopFree Litter Box. Every cat owner needs to have this litter box. There is NO SMELL AT ALL! I have been looking at auto cat boxes for a year, reading reviews on all of them, and I can tell you I am so happy I chose the ScoopFree one. I am buying a 2nd one for my mom. Best Cat Box EVER!

The automatic litter box works as described. I've had no problem with the litter like some people have and that's with four cats, one of them with a UTI. I did however have to put out the old litter box because one of the kitties decided the litter box should not move and freaked out when it ran it's first cycle. She won't even approach it and looks at the old litter box like she's waiting for it to move as well. After a few days the motor began making a slight whining noise but it still works; A few days after that I discovered the kitten playing with the rake, sitting in the way while it moved, batting at it.

This product is excellent and does the job well. However, this product is way to expensive especially if you have more than one cat. If you are rich and can afford to replace the trays at $8.00 each, this product is amazing. But if you have more than one cat, you will be replacing trays once a week.
