The car seat lookout exceeded my expectations. So good that is includes a safety belt that hooks onto my dog's harness. She, Queen, loves the her high seat - the better to survey her kingdom since she is royalty. Queen is an 11 lb Portuguese Podengo Pequneo, so this is a perfect size for her to comfortably ride in. The seat is well-made and quite handsome.

Love the Snoozer car seat. It is roomy, comfortable for my Affenpinshcher and is easy to place and remove .
I like that it is washable also.
I think Snoozer products are well made. I have the wheel carry on for air travel with my dog.

It wasn't what I expected. It's big and kind of bulky - I got the one up to 18lbs. The base of this booster is all foam and the material seems very flimsy - not well put together in my opinion. It didn't work for me for the price paid. I returned it for another brand.

I bought this seat for a fairly long car trip. Previously my dog had been apprehensive about going in the car and needed a lot of reassurance. He loves this seat. He relaxes and looks out the window. I am so happy I bought it. It is very east to install.

Cuddles my 8 year old yorkie is very special to me. She is the last dog and only female my husband and I had together. She has lost from 14.6 lbs to 11.6 lbs and usually rides on my lap but since I have been driving it has become a strain so I bought her a bed to sleep in since that is one of the things she does while on long trips. I will be using this one when we go see my granddaughters this next week. Cuddles Mommy

My dog loves her new seat, we had to get a new one with our new truck because our other seat was a console one and it won't work with the truck. She can see out the window and has plenty of room. She is a very small dog 2.3lbs but she fits fine with her sister we just got that weighs 4.5lbs. Very safe way to travel with your pet and it is very easy to remove if you are needing the space for people. LOVE this car seat.

How do you secure your dog in this car-seat?
- A small strap is supplied with the dog car seat that attaches to your harness' d-ring and goes around the bottom seat belt that holds the Lookout to the car seat.

Th booster seat attaches to the car seat but does it attach to the dog in any way?
- There is the short safety strap that hooks onto the metal loop on my dog's harness that limits how far she can go - it's designed to hold the dog from flying around the vehicle in case of sudden stops or an accident so it would definitely keep your dog from getting to you wile driving - even if your seat is in the front passengers seat

Does this seat also operate as a seatbelt or only a booster seat?
- This also function as a seat belt - your car seat belt goes through the seat and then there is included a short safety belt with a D hook that clamps onto the metal ring on your dog's harness or collar that limits their movement---so this helps prevent the dog from flying around in the car at a sudden sttop or in an accident

- It depends on what size you get - up to 18lbs - no. The larger size yes - but it's very big.

Can I purchase a 'replacement strap' for the snoozer car seat
my yorkie weighs 20 lbs what size shoulh i purchase?
- I had originally purchased the medium seat but it was very large for my 11 lb poodle, so I re-ordered the small size. A 20 lb dog would not be able to stretch out in the small size but might be okay riding in it curled up? Be aware that the larger medium size booster takes up a lot of room in the car. I found that with the medium booster strapped in the middle seat of the car, there was barely room for an adult to sit on each side of it. You can always return and get a different size if the one you get doesn't work for you.

I'm looking for a booster seat for my 8lb and 11lb poms so they can sit and lie down. Can you suggest one?
- It is hard to say, because all pets are different, but let me give you some measurements, and you can decide if the item will work for you. The inside dimensions of this product measure: Small - 12x14 (W x D) Medium- 18x14 (W x D) We always recommend that you cut out a piece of newspaper to the inside dimensions of each and place your pets on the paper. If they fit comfortably in that space together, then they should fit together in the seat. This item only comes with one containment strap, so I would recommend purchasing an additional strap for the second dog if you decide it will work for you. Thank you.
