I have 2 personal dogs and do daycare/boarding in my home, so I bough the X-Large. Both my personal dogs fit in it together, so cute. The only thing, the inside cushion states it's washable but it's so big (one pc) it wouldn't even fit in my large front loader. I would suggest they make that 2 pcs or put a zipper in it for cover removal as well.. With boarding I always wrap the inside of the beds with plastic and then put the cover over, I did the same with the cushion but had to use a different extra pc from something else as the cover. Wash the cover, change the plastic as needed.

I have a 9 year old corgi and the moment we got the package she was so excited. The armrests(?) on the sofa is great, sturdy and the washable covers- both the cushions and the armrest piece. My corgi used to jump up on the couch with me but since she is getting older we stopped her from doing so. I wanted to get her an alternate dog couch and I found this. My corgi loves the bed! She has been sleeping on it since the 1st day. Thank you!! Very satisfied with the purchase.

I have been thru 5 dog beds, all over $100 purchases, in the last few years. We have 4 large dogs and they all prefer the couch or our bed. I have tried several beds that they are ok with but had yet to find one that one of our GSP liked. He has slept solely on the couch or bed for 12 years. I initially purchased this bed for our 12 year old black lab who is starting to have a hard time getting up onto the couch/bed so I wanted something that resembled a couch. This bed is heavy!! Lol... But it is very large and my lab can stretch out all the way in it. However, our GSP has taken residence on it!! In 12 years not 1 dog bed has seen him in it until now... he LOVES this bed and races to get into it when they all come in. Looks like I will be buying a second one for my lab! It has very thick padding on the bottom and the bolster around it seems pretty sturdy so far (only a few weeks in). Not sure on cleaning yet since it is new.. but probably will be an issue due to size/weight. The brown was to be good for our black lab, but with the white GSP laying on it, I have to vac it out... no biggy

does the pillow have a removable zipper cover also or is it all one piece
- No, the two interior pad layers do not have a removable cover. I'd suggest adding a waterproof pad as the interior foam layer and poly-filled-pillow layer are not washable. Fabric cover removable (rod comes out small slot on left) for washing.

Does this bed come in a size med, what about other colors?
- Petco.com has other colors available for this item. Please search our Snoozer(R) brand page for more options. Our sizes were once listed as small and large. When our customers asked for a bigger size, we created one, but instead of confusing everyone at the time, we chose to call the new size X-Large. Our Large size is in the middle, but do not let the naming confuse you. Please take a look at the measurements and decide by the actual dimensions, which bed will work best for your pet. Thank you.

We are getting a great dane puppy and need a very large bed for when he gets big. any suggestions was looking at the one that looks like a couch
- This bed would be great for you Great Dane but do as I did and wrap the inside with plastic & put the cover over, at least until potty trained :-)
