Easy to use!

I love this litter! It's easy to clean only getting the dirty litter out when cleaning the litter boxes. My two ferrets don't have any problems with it either.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I used this litter for my rabbit and 2 rats. I do change my rabbit's litter daily, and spot clean the rats' litter daily. It is absorbent enough for the rabbit urine. As far as odor control goes, if I didn't clean the rabbit box daily I'm sure it would smell, and it doesn't seem to do too much odor control for the rat feces. But since it's a good price I will continue using it. I like that I can use it for all my small animals, it's easy to scoop, and it's easy to remove soiled litter from the litter that's still good.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Average Litter...

I have been purchasing this litter since I got my ferret this past Christmas. Averagely, a 10 pound lasts my ferret about 2 months. I recently purchased the 20 pound bag due to it being cheaper to buy in bulk. Pros: -Moderately easy to scoop -Ferret hates the taste, thus does not eat it -No scent -No dust Cons: -Ferret tracks it the litter all over the cage -Below average odor control. -Have to replace pretty much all of the litter in my ferret's litter pans (2) everyday. -Breaks down from urine, which sometimes makes it difficult to get all of the dirty litter into the litter scooper. The cons outweigh the pros for me, which is why I will probably look for another litter to use in conjunction with this one to wean him off of it. I might try to use some of my chinchilla's litter (Oxbow Pure Comfort Animal Bedding) to help with the odor control and to wean him off this stuff until I can find another suitable pellet litter.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is baking soda safe for rats?

  1. Thank you for your question. In speaking with the manufacturer and our on staff Veterinarians, it was concluded that the very small amount of baking soda in the bedding would not cause harm to small pets.
