Trim the narrow nail tips and select size Fill caps 1/3 full with adhesive Extend nails by gently pressing thumb on top with index finger on bottom of paw--slide nail caps onto nails Observe cat for 5 minutes before release Point glue tube upward and squeeze gently until all air escapes. Replace cap immediately and store in refrigerator out of the reach of children.

Easy to get on if your cat is comfortable enough to have his claws being messed with (or if you have a high tolerance to him biting you). some of the soft claws do come off with wear and tear (package says that they will come off in about 4 -6 weeks when the cat sheds his claws), my cat is now missing four of them but he doesn't seem to mind and hasn't really scratched at the furniture with the others on. I could of not put the right amount to glue in the "falsies." I have found a couple and reapplied them to his claws and it seems to work fine as long as the harden glue hasn't filled up the protector. Love the colors :)

Does soft claws fit on kittens?
- I only recently bought Soft Claws for both of my about 1 year old cats. They're around eight lbs and I bought the mediums. They are working great. I heard about Soft Claws, however, from a friend of mine that had just gotten a new kitten (maybe about four-five weeks old, so pretty small yet) She had bought the small ones to put on her cat and had absolutely raved over them. So I think your cat would indeed fit in small Soft Claws. The good news is that if they are a bit big for her, she'll just grow into them anyhow!
