So easy and stays on

My new 7 month old kitten is VERY active and can be ornery, so we put her in a bathing bag with handles and she just relaxed and watched what I was doing, then we fed her and the caps have stayed on now for 3 weeks. I was sure she would bite them off and she never has. Saves my furniture!

It doesn't hurt the cat but the caps keep the furniture from being ripped up

Waste of money!

This product is a complete waste of money. Do not buy!!! Our cats are declawed in the front so we bought these for their hind paws. We followed the instructions to a tee and made sure to "watch the cats" for the 5 minutes after to make sure they stayed on before being dry. We did. And almost all of the caps were off by the end of the night. They either fell off, or the cats chewed them off. They also didn't fit on quite right, even though we had the right size, and we cut them to fit. They definitely were not able to retract their claws with these on. And not to mention how difficult it was to restrain them to put them on. I'm feeling sad about the wasted money and wish we had just opted to take out their back claws as well since our cats are strictly indoor animals. Not happy.

Better than expected

My eight year old male cat has allergies and scratches himself in the face with his back claws. I applied the nail caps to his back claws expecting him to chew them all off instantly. Instead they are working rather well. Most of the time he ignores them. He does chew one off at a time and I simply glue on a replacement. You cut them to fit; the glue is very effective and the instructions are good. My cat is easy to manage so maybe that helps.

Very disappointed with soft Paws Nail Caps!

What a waste of $15, my time, and resources. I let my kitten tire until she could not keep her eyes open any longer, followed the instructions to the letter. But a kitten won't sit still for the five minutes that the instructions recommend. After gluing and holding as recommended, she removed them in less time than it took to I put them on her. I was hpoing that this was the answer to de-clawing, but it is definitely not, at least for me and my kitty.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I would recommend this to anyone! A cat recently adopted us and had kittens... and we needed to protect our arms, clothes, and furniture. A friend recommended these so we gave them a try. I was worried they would fight having them applied and then chew them to death, but two of the cats fell asleep the first time we put them on and the third purred the whole time. They hardly noticed the soft claws once they were applied. We had to cut the kitten sized ones shorter for the kittens (they were tiny, only 2 1/2 month old)... but that was easy- just snip snip with the kitchen scissors. Out of the original 30 (3 cats with 10 front claws each) only one fell off in the first week and a month later only three have needed replacing. We just finished reapplying the missing ones and the cats didn't even notice. The only thing I would change is the number of replacement glue tips... I feel we are going to run out of those faster than the glue or soft claws if we replace the soft claws as they fall off. Also... I would love to see lager packages for cheaper prices and better colors for kittens at Petco ( they are available elsewhere).

Yes, I recommend this product.

Simple directions, to follow. give your cat time to adjust to them and if your as lucky as I am with my cats they forget they are there and you and your furniture are safe from their sharp claws. I would much rather do this this, than try a de -clawing that comes with lots of problems. I recommend this product !

Amazing Product

I love this product! We bought Soft Paws 2 days ago for our 1 year old cat Abigail. We bought them because we are moving out of country, and she kept popping the airbed which we sleep on and clawing us up. She was not too happy about getting them put on (we did it ourself's, took about 10 minutes, simple) After she got them on she was happy and pleasent again. I don't even think she notices them. :) They are super amazing and I was joking with my husband that our kitty will be wearing them for as long as she lives. :)

Yes, I recommend this product.

will your grooming center put the Soft Paws caps on cats & kittens

Soft Claws Cat Nail Caps I have trouble getting the glue out. so what do i need to fix it?

How long does one set (10) last on a cat before we have to change them?

      1. They last a while! The good thing is in my experience, they don't all fall off at the same time. I'll notice one is off (or find it on the floor) and replace that one. I've only had to do 1 or 2 at a time for the entire year my cat has had them on. So I would say the original 10 lasted 2-3 months and then I started having to replace them 1 by 1. Hope this helps!
