There is not enough of any one type of piece to do anything with. Must be leftover parts!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Make sure the blocks you get fit a pre existing chain, as mine did not so all I can do is hand them or set them on the ground.

I actually bought this product not to build my own bird toys but to use the individual items for hand held "destroy toys" for my male Umbrella Cockatoo. I like the variety and shapes of the items in this selection and so does Samson. I am always looking for new items to entertain him.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Product

This had a good selection of plastic and wood pieces. Was able to make several toys for my two African Greys before we left the country. Now the sitter has a selection to offer them. The only thing that would have been nice would be some natural wood since one Grey won't chew on colored wood so he got more of the plastic toys. It is still a good selection.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product is great for a smaller bird

Again I was looking for something larger as it's hard to tell the size in pictures. This product is great for my quaker parrot but definitely not even close to anything for my macaw.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very nice (how to "enhance" it)

This is a quite good product and worth it. Keep in mind that some pieces are fairly large. Something I do to enhance it is use a hand-held power tool (such as Dremel brand) and various bits to add holes, recesses, gouges and slots to place and hide treats for my bird to forage for. He spends lots of time doing this (and is often the first thing he does when returned to his cage) and prefers food he finds to food in a cup. I will buy this as often as the pieces need to be replaced.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My Sulphur Crested Cockatoo Simera loves toys and can chew through one with lightening speed. This kit enabled me to build challenging toys that immediately got her attention and gave her hours of enjoyment. I will buy this kit again and again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What size rope or sisal?

  1. Thank you for your question. The wood kit has holes measuring 3/16" to 7/16".

What customs or duty charges, if any, will be levied when a toy or food shipment comes to me in Canada.

  1. Print up a 'Wish List' with the prices of what you plan to purchase and ask at the post office what is an estimate of what the customs would be. Maybe it is based on a percent of the total price, so you would have a guidline.
