Wow can the Germans make a good product! This is well made, and while the instructions could have been just a tad bit easier to follow, or even larger, it put together simply enough. Just pace yourself, have patience and refer to the picture of it put together and you'll be fine. Took me 2 hours and it stands about six feet fully constructed.

With only two reviews to go on, I decided to go ahead and get it, and this cat tree went together fine - the first time! I ordered it online up in MD on a weeks vacation at my mom's. and it was on the porch the day I came back home. Good deal!

I have a larger version of this exact cat tree that I purchased in-store and I am pleasantly surprised. My 3 cats LOVE this tree. My 20 year old son put it together for me (didn't take him long but he is very good at that kind of stuff) and it is very sturdy. The cats take running jumps at it (climbing to the very top) and I am surprised at how it holds up! Even my big boy Bob, who weighs in at 14lbs, climbs up with ease. I feel that I got a great value for the money with this tree.

Well. Looked sturdy enough. Nice color. The sissal posts are hard to put together without getting splinters. 2 of the double ended bolts to hook the posts together didn't fit together at all, and the nut pulled out from the bottom of one of the connecting posts, which rendered 2 posts inoperable. The nut that holds the bolts inside the post ... well, not the same thread and NOT very sturdy, and the plastic part that holds the nut in for the bolts to screw to? That broke as well. The first rung on the ladder broke the first time my 7 pound cat jumped on it, ... junk. Do NOT waste your money on this.
