My two birds love this product. I give it as a side dish in their night feeding dish. It has alot of mixed seeds ,fruit, and peanuts.

Our little Sun Conure loves this product. We mix the Fruit cocktail with her regular food but you can use it as a treat also. The fruit and nuts are very fresh. Our bird particularly likes the Pineapple pieces and the Papaya. All of the fruit is 100% natural and enticing to most birds I'm sure. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a small to medium sized parot (Parakeet,Cockatiel too). For the larger birds I'm not too certain. The fruit pieces and nuts could be too small for them to handle.

I have two little green cheek conures that absolutely love this fruit cocktail.. It has been very good for them too. The color of there feathers has even gotten brighter since starting them on this fruit!!! I would recommend this for any small to medium Bird!!!!!!!! However the cost of shipping makes it more expensive than the stores!!!!

While it is not perfect, this little simmer does a good job in my 20-gallon nano-reef. You need a large air-pump (or two smaller ones) to run it and the airstones need to be changed often but this skimmer pulls some really yucky stuff out of the tank. The two problems are that it takes up space in the tank and that water level changes can affect it (top-off your tank regularly like you should and that becomes a non-issue). Overall, a good little entry-level skimmer.

I've used this same skimmer, off & on for 12 years & it finally broke. Obviously it can't compete with skimmers valued at $100.00+ but if you are careful, & clean the calcium off each week, it will do the job just fine. Yes, it sticks out the top of your aquarium, so if you use a top, you will need to trip off a section. You also can't deviate from using the wooden air stones.... nothing else will work right, prob why some ppl said it wasn't working at all.

how big of a tank is this ideal for?

I don't think this skimmer would be big enough for a 55-gallon tank. I use it on my 20-gallon reef tank but much bigger and it will not be able to keep up in a reef tank. If it is a fish-only or fish-only-with-live-rock tank, you could probably get by with it.

This skimmer comes with a pump. Pin Wheel Pump was included. That was one of the benefits of this skimmer.
