Would this cage work for a dwarf hamster? Or is the space between bars too big?
- Thank you for your inquiry. That particular cage would be too big for a dwarf hamster. The spacing between the bars is 1". We do have another Home Sweet Home Hamster Cage, item #01993 that would be good for a dwarf hamster. The spacing between the bars on this cage is .5". I hope this information is helpful.

how many guinea pigs can live in this cage?
- Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. With the small animal habitat 28", I wouldn't recommend keeping two guinea pigs in it. When they reach adulthood, the cage might be too small for the both of them to fit comfortably. Perhaps you can try the 40" cage for your pets. I hope this has been helpful.

- This cage has two doors. One located in the front of the cage, and the other located on the top of the cage wire.

Can I keep bigger rabbits in here
- I don't know about this question...I think rabbits are way too big to be in any cage this size or a little bigger together. Even Netherland Dwarf rabbits (the smallest of them all) need a lot of room because they are energetic. My suggestion is that you get one cage per rabbit. This could add up to a lot depending on how many rabbits you have, so you could also try getting a hutch, which is good for multiple rabbits.

- The Ware Small Animal Habitat is more suited for rabbits or guinea pigs, as this has 1inch wire spacing. This particular cage is not suitable for rats. You may be interested in the Rat Manor, as this item has 1/2 inch wire spacing.

- You could put a ferret in there but it would NOT NOT NOT be comfy at all Something bigger and taller would be better
