To introduce brushing to your dog, place a small amount of toothpaste on the tip of your finger and offer it as a treat, encouraging them to lick it off. Next, apply toothpaste to the soft-bristled pet toothbrush or finger brush. Gently expose your dog's front teeth and brush in a circular motion. Slowly work up to sliding the toothbrush along the gum line from front to back, making sure to get those often neglected back molars.
