My bunny Nacho is a very efficient chewer and she goes through lots of toys. She loves these and they are hands down the longest lasting toy I have ever given her. I like that the cutouts give many edges to chew from and the yucca wood is softer than other wood so it doesn't create sharp edges.
Nacho says buy one...... your bun won't be disappointed!

I initially purchased the Bunny Blast for my house-roaming Lop Bunny, but she was not interested. I then put it in the cage with 3 little rat rescues and they chewed it to bits after a few months. Bought 3 more Bunny Blasts so I wouldn't run out. They move it around, tip it up on end, chew on it. A lovely toy for them..Light enough to play with, but hard enough to get a good chew!

My rabbit didn't like this at all. It was a waste of money. He didn't play with it one day. If your rabbit likes complex puzzles this is not the toy for your rabbit. My rabbit was bored immediately.

Rabbits teeth never stop growing, so they need things to chew on to help wear their teeth down or they may begin chewing on things they're not supposed to - like baseboards and wooden furniture. While hay does wear teeth down well, toys also do this while providing something fun to do. This toy is great for nibbling, rolling, even tossing if your bunny is big enough. The many holes provide places to begin chewing and tossing. My three house rabbits love this toy and it's one of their most chewed toys.

I have 2 bunnies and they are picky about toys. The both love the Bunny Blast. I always order several so I have a new one after they are done with the old one. They get excited when I put a new one in their pen!

Is there a way to clean this toy?
- You could use hot water... just soak in hot water for 15 minutes or so...

Would this be safe for a busy chinchilla?
- While the product specifies that it is intended for rabbits, yucca is a huge favorite among chinchillas and the only difference between this toy and the chews made for chins is the size/shape. It's pretty big, even for my lop (who, by the way, completely ignores it), and because it rolls I would just keep it on the bottom level. The wood IS very soft -I can push it in with my finger, so it's certainly light enough to toss by a chin. For the price it's definitely worth a try. Yucca IS safe for chins, regardless of who the product says it's for.
