This light bulb only lasted 2 days. I spent $8 on this and I was hoping that it would last longer so I would not have to spend more money....But now I have to go and spend money. NOT HAPPY

This is a good bulb, providing good night time lighting & a good heat source. The very first bulb I bought had a pretty good life...lasted almost 4 mos. The last one, not so great, less than 2 mos. Going to buy a couple more tonight. Lets see how long the next one lasts. *If you are using this as a nighttime heat source, be sure to have a spare on hand! You'll never know when it will go.

I use this for my Albino tremper leopard gecko. He cant see it at night, but you need a deep dome or the bulb will touch the screen top.

I use these bulbs for my ball python's tank. She can't see the red, so its perfect for leaving on at night. Helps warm the tank during cold weather. However, I've had them blow out on me very quickly. They usually last about two months.

I would definitely recommend these. They are not very visible to reptiles at night, provide good heat, and allow you to view your reptiles at night.
