thinking of getting a ball python very soon, need to know how much i will need please let me know asap thanks

as it states, just fill up the bottom of the tank... ive had my ball python for about 3 years now, since she was a hatchling... ive always just put about an inch or 2 on the bottom, when i was using this type of substrate it worked perfectly, but now that i have a very large tank i just use carpet... but this stuff it perfect, and dont get the BIG chuncks of this stuff... for like rabbits and guinea pigs... cus the big chunks hurt the snakes underside.. when i did once, she never left her log

how far does 8 quarts go? 24 quarts?

If i were you i would get the 24 quart and fill up the cage about an inch or two. in the long run it will save you a lot of money to get 24 quarts instead of 8 quarts
