Nice and durable

The IguanArium is a great size, and is built durable. Very easy to assemble. My Hatchling looks lost in it, but seems very happy. Lots of room to roam around. When allowed to roam the house she makes her way back to the cage. Humidity was a problem at first, but we purchased a warm mist humidifier which we placed inside the cage, under the basking shelf. It's not ideal, but gives off 50% humidity. Can't wait to take this outside, when the weather is warm enough.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Really Good for Baby to 2 feet long

The cage comes in a huge box to be assembled. Try to find the directions. It helps. The iguana loves it. Unfortunately he will outgrown it very quickly, six months to a year. Our iguana is 18 inches long. When misting, the mist hits the wall of course. The iguana can now move around freely and is much happier. You can binder clip collard green around the top to make a canopy for him to enjoy. It would be good if we could enclose three side so he was less spooked and the cats could not access him.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great cage!

This cage was very well made, looked great, and is sturdy. I mistakenly ordered it for my chameleon, because of the size, but the wire gauge is too large for containing crickets, so I'm returning it. However, it is such a well made cage, it made me wish I had a different retile to house in it......it's that nice.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good but not for what it was designed for

This cage is great for many lizards such as large chameleons Frilled dragons or even small juvenile iguanas but is way too small for an adult iguana with tropical species any reputable herp owner/breeder will tell you that tropical species do best in screen/wire cages on a set misting system cycle (such as the mistking misting systems set to 3 to 4 times a day for 1 minute cycles.) the screen/wire allows for air flow which in high humidity is a absolute must or you will have stagnation and mold problems which are very serious health issues to your pet it may be expensive to keep them properly but you shouldnt keep them at all unless you can afford to do so.

Yes, I recommend this product.

WAY too small for the price, does not hold in humidity

Every single arboreal reptile I can think of is tropical and requires a very high amount of humidity, iguanas included. Wire cages are not at all recommended because of this. An animal that requires humidity that lives in a dry enclosure will suffer from poor sheds, extreme dehydration, and respiratory problems, such as infection, due to lowered immune system. Unless you want to keep a mist system on nearly 24/7, or keep your whole house a constant 80% humidity, wire cages absolutely WILL NOT WORK. Also, 18"x36"x48" is barely big enough for a baby iguana. A great height for a baby iguana up to about 6 months old, but the 36"x18" is way, way, way too small. An iguana who does not have enough room to turn around or exercise/explore will end up with a broken tail in several places and muscle deterioration.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The Zoo Med Iguanarium was easy to assemble. I thought there would be more depth and the only other thing I did not like about it is that the bottom tray does not pull out for easy cleaning. Other than that it is a strong easy to build cage and I would recommend it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

is this tank an indoor tank or outdoor? and can you put a heat lamp on it,without melting the wires?

  1. Used both indoor and outdoor. Depending on the climate. Here in Chicago, I only roll it out, outside, with my supervision, when it's humid and hot. It is an open cage. Had no problems with the heating bulbs ( in a dome, on op of the cage) During the cold seasons, it's indoors in a separate room with a humidifier on 24/7and a large window. My iguana is very happy in it.

how big is a Iguana cage supposed to be ?

  1. Our hatchling is about 2 ft long. As you know Iguanas can grown up to 6 ft long. This cage is 3 ft by 2ft. It Is great for now, but a mature iguana will require an 8 by 8 ft cage.

Would this this set be good for a green anole?

Do you think that the Iguanarium enclosure offered by Zoomed is a good choice for a young juevenile iguana?

    1. Our Iguana outgrew the glass habitat, terrarium, and was miserable. We wanted to buy something that would allow ample room and for growth. This is a great cage, our iguana is approximately 22 inches long. We've had this since she was 13 inches long. Our iguana loves climbing all over the cage, plenty of vertical space. Lighting ..no problem. Humidity was a bit tricky.. We placed the cage into our den, bought a vicks warm humidifier and keep the door closed. Perfect temperature for this tropical lizard :)

Is this good for bearded dragons?

    1. Bearded Dragons require dry air, this cage is open and allows for all the humidity to enter, more for a tropical lizard.

Would the Zoo Med Reptibreeze IguanArium be a suitable cage for an adult Columbian tegu?

    1. no, tegu's need ground space, they need VERY large enclosures as an adult. 8ft by 4ft . this cage is tall, so the ground space provided by this cage would not be suitable, nor would I think a full grown Tegu even fit in the bottom of the cage

can a full grown water dragon live here

    1. yes

Can I order replacement shelves for ZooMed Iguanarium from Petco?

    1. I have tried to locate more shelves, the cage comes with only one. No replacement shelves that you can order :(

Where could you get a Iguana in Madera?

    1. Iguana's are sold at the local Petco in Madera, CA. Talk to Melissa the store manager, she's great!!
