Galliprant—a prescription dog arthritis medication—treats pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis. Galliprant is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug—NSAID—that blocks specific inflammatory substances from being produced in your dog’s body, treating the pain exactly where it starts. Unlike other arthritis NSAIDs for dogs, this medication isn’t as hard on the liver or kidneys, making it a great choice for your pet.

Galliprant typically starts easing your pup’s joint pain in 1- to 2-hours, so they’ll be back to feeling more like themselves in no time. Galliprant for dogs treats pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis—a chronic and common joint disease that breaks down the cartilage between a dog’s bones, causing them to rub against each other. The drug is approved for use for extended periods of time, per your veterinarian’s advice, but long-term monitoring is recommended.
