Does the aqueon all glass sealant work for acrylic sheets? I am trying to build an aquarium for a turtle without breaking the bank on glass.

Question about All-Glass Silicone Aquarium Sealant.

    1. hi. sealing from the outside will not work...with the water pressure so high in the tank the water will find any tiny hole...I have had tanks in that size with small leaks and all needed to be sealed from the inside. its a pain to do all that work but if you seal it correctly its cheaper then having to replace .

Can you use this on plastic tanks as well? Will it adhere to it like it does glass?

    1. I've used it with glass and plastic aquariums. It worked fine for me and shouldn't be adhering to either. As long as you keep the hose in motion you should be fine. I've also used it on sand and it wouldn't suck the sand up with it as long as I paid attention to what I was doing.
