I got my shaver and watched the dvd for ideas on how to go about my first attempt to shave my little guy. I didnt want him to get butchered. And it was wonderful. He is adorae. I ant tell you how user friendly these are. They do get very hot after an hour so we did have to take a break. That is my only issue.

My schnauzer and I love her groomers but I needed to cut some costs. I found the clippers originally on Petco.com but went to the Andis website which had a chart showing which product best groomed which breed of dog. The Andis Easy Clip Blue Versa was suggested for schnauzers. In fact, when I opened the package, there was an instructional video not only on the care and use of the product but how to groom a schnauzer correctly! I followed the directions and I love the result!!!

I bought this online and had read the reviews. I have a 6 month old miniature Labradoodle and found that this would not cut thru her fur. I had been using a Wahl clipper on her that I had been using for a few years to cut my families hair which actually worked very well but I was afraid it would burn up the motor. After returning the Andis I bought a Wahl Pet pro for almost half the price and it worked like a charm.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy these. My dogs are both schnauzer so their hair is thick. I bought these this morning and very happy I did they are great. They are worth every penny.

I'm giving this product a 5 paw rating because although it's my first set of clippers officially, I bought a Wahl set of clippers and boy did those vibrate. I turned it on and my Lhasa was backing away like "don't you dare come near me with those things." So I returned them and ordered these because of the good reviews and I agree, they're great. I got them on sale with free shipping so it was worth it! I highly suggest it.

Interchangeable Blades BUT … If you want interchangeable blades then opt for the “Easy Clip Groom” by Andis. The “Easy Clip Versa” (which this review is for) does not use the standard interchangeable blades (i.e. Andis, Oster Model A-5 and most detachable-type clipper blades). Instead Versa uses it’s own blades that are exclusive for the Versa which I could not find as sold separately. I returned the Versa for the “Easy Clip Groom” which was $20 more but has interchangeable blades that are available everywhere. Additionally, the “Easy Clip Groom” is rated Heavy Duty and the “Versa” is rated Medium Duty. As a side note… Do Not Get The “Easy Clip” Confused. Andis uses “Easy Clip” when it speaks of the Versa as well as a blue version of the Versa they named “Easy Clip”. So in this case the Versa and the Easy Clip are the same clipper (Versa is Blue and the Easy Clip is Pink). Make Sure You Order The “Easy Clip GROOM” MSRP $89.99 as the Groom is the one with the Interchangeable Blades and is Heavy Duty. Hope this helps you make an informed decision!

More value than I expected..works great on my thick coated dog.

they sure work good but do have some flaws,as can not cut horse hair as well with them,but on my dog she had long tangled hair and i got her cleaned up very well with these clippers
