I have been using this product for two years. My pond is in an unshaded area and we have had mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s. I used to drain the pond 2 -3 times a year. Since I started using this product I only change water once a year (and really would not need to). The water stays crystal clear. I only add a little AlgaeFix once a week.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works at getting rid of Algae, and also fish

I'd used this product a few years ago and gradually most of my fish died....recently, having issues with algae again in my tank, I thought, maybe it was a fluke that my fish died after using this, so I thought I would try it again. AGAIN, 3 of my 4 fish died. I'm very upset that I now have to start over again with fish after I'd finally gotten fish that were thriving prior to using this product. As I said, it does work great on getting rid of the algae, but it also works great on getting rid of your fish!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I was skeptical, but this product worked wonderfully. I had a freshwater 180G planted tank that was overgrown with hair algae (or at least it looked like green hair). I have a variety of plants in the aquarium and the AlgaeFix only killed the hair algae. I used as directed dosing every third day and after 4-5 applications the tank looks great again. No negative effects on any of my tropical fish either. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Every spring, my 52 gallon aquarium has algae growth. Normally readjusting my light on/off phase does the trick. However, spring sprang even earlier than normal, and I ended up with a moderately bad algae growth that sprang up very quickly. Used this twice, now the tank has basically re-set itself and is doing fine. My Cory Cats even just laid eggs, which also showed me how easy it is on the fish. Excellent product!!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product did not work for me!

I could see no effect on my algae by using this product. I have a 55 gal marine aquarium with very health fish and crabs. I used the product exactly as stated on the bottle. I did use filters that contain carbon. BUT, it was stated that Carbon had no effect on this Algae Fix. I find that hard to believe as in 40 years of fish keeping I have never found any chemical that Carbon would not take out. My experience with this Algae Fix was very bad and a waste of money. IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME,

No, I do not recommend this product.
