followed there directions, used this product on 2 tanks could never get a good reading after, also did water changes and still bad readings the fish were looking worse as the days went on. I went back to the store and bought Kordon AmQuel plus, I could see the fish come back to life and start swimming again that day and they looked happy. I have 1 large fancy tall and 1 large Oranda

This works fine but you need to put in more than recommended to get the ppm level down. Cleans water just momentarily.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I am trying to cycle my tank and I'm having problems with ammonia. I change about half the water every other day or so to keep the ammonia levels to a minimum but it is not good enough. I tested the water and it was 1 ppm. I used this product and waiting about 30 mins and the ammonia reading was about 0.5 ppm. It didn't remove the ammonia completely, but it reduced it so I don't have to change the water daily. I also like this product because it claims to protect the fish from ammonia.

Yes, I recommend this product.

By all means, this product is wonderful, it does everything it says it should! But I believe that water conditioner than removes chlorine and chloromines along with promoting slime caot and removing ammonia is a better choice. However, if you are going to buy this product in addition to water conditioner, or in an emergency situation, then I highly recommend this product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

If you use Ammo Lock, you should still do water changes. Get a good ammonia test kit (they are not all the same) and use it exactly as instructed. If you have 0.2 ppm (parts per million) of ammonia or more, do a water change. Ammo Lock will convert ammonia to a non-toxic form but it does not actually remove it from the tank, so the test kit will still detect it even if it has been converted to a non-toxic form. (people call this, "false positive") Only water changes will remove ammonia. Change up to 10-30% of your water at a time, as often as needed. When you first set up your tank, you will have to do water changes more often. In extreme conditions (extremely high ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate) you can change up to 50% as often as once a day. I wouldn't change more than 50% at a time though.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product is really good. My fish tank used to be really murky and yellow (eww!) but since I started using this product it's crystal clear. I would TOTALLY recommend this stuff.

Yes, I recommend this product.
