It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For indoor aquarium use only. Add 1ml (1/5tsp) for each 10 U.S. gallons of aquarium water or 5ml (1 tsp) for each 50 U.S. gallons of aquarium water. Repeat dose every 3 days until algae in controlled. Siphon or scrape any dead algae from aquarium. Once algae growth is under control, add one dose per week. Weekly doses of Aqueon Algae Remover will control algae growth and reduce aquarium maintenance.

Does this work on black beard algae?
- Get 5-6 true Siamese Algae Eater fish. The true (real) Siamese Algea Eaters have a black strip from nose to tail; false ones don't. While not expensive, they are very effective In rieding your tank of black algea! It took my SAEs about a week to clear up a nasty out break! I learned that chemicals can't kill black algea... SAEs can. Best wish with your proublem!
