Questions
african leaf fish
- The dietary requirements of leaf fish are not that far off from Bettas. This would be an appropriate diet if your leaf fish will accept the food. As for compatibility, you will need to make sure that any fish you put in with the leaf fish are large enough that the leaf fish doesn't try to eat them and passive enough that they don't nip at the leaf fish.

How many pellets a day? and how many times a day?
- I feed my male beta about 8 pieces a day. Four in the morning, four in the evening. If you recently bought a close to baby fish or it's pretty small, stick to 3-6 pieces a day.

Why does my fish keep throwing this up?
- I feed my fish after i put them in the water a treat to help them calm down every time i change it so i highly doubt it is the water change. It might be the food your giving him. Bettas need a mix of a diet. I feed mine flakes and pellets as well as dried blood (SKU: 1483978) that act as a sort of daily multi-vitamin. try changing its food or give it something like blood worms to see if that'll help. Also if you clean your tank with soap it can poison the water. It is best to clean it with pre-treated, betta safe water (like SKU: 205320) and do it every 2 weeks to every month. Never use soap in a fish tank. If you did then this is most likely the problem. Take him out right away and re clean the tank rocks and plant and anything else, filter, heater, anything that could be in the water with water thats been pre-treated for bettas. (which you can do yourself by adding betta water conditioner to bottles or gallons of water and let it sit for 10 or so minutes. Or weeks if you do it and just have it on hand in case of illness or problems or cleanings.) I hope you find this helpful.

I have a betta fish this is second time noticed i believe it's swimmerbladder problem. Notice when he eats his pellet he tends to gulp fast
- Try a little less food or a water change. This happened with my male beta named Bubbles. He looked sick and lay at the bottom of the tank, but now he is so much happier and energetic after the water change! Like I said, too much food is a big problem too. If your fish is gulping down his food, don't give him more. He only needs four pieces in the morning and four in the evening not big pinches. Your beta is probably fine when you do one of those things.

How many Aqueon pellets should a Betta eat in a day?
- It also depends on size of the pellets
