I bought the Beauty Max LED light for my aquarium full hood. It already came with the Day White plus an extra space for an additional light. I picked the Beauty Max because of my plants needing a spectrum of blue, green and red. The light arrived in great shape. Everything was packed well to prevent from breakage.
This light really enhances the colors of my plants and fish. It gives a soft glow to everything and shows up with a soft red hue on some of my slate. The driftwood looks even more beautiful than it already did . My Cardinal Tetras really seem to pop with color. I'm not sure it will help with plant growth or plant needs but I don't think it will hurt my plants because I have a low tech tank. The fish seem happy and content.
