So far all the things I have gotten for my fish at Petco have been great. And this is no exception! This conditioner takes the chlorine out of my tanks water and keeps my fish safe. This is a great product for anyone who has freshwater fish.

This water conditioner is great! Cleans tap water quickly. I used it for my new 29 gallon aquarium and my water perimeters are flawless. Thank you Aqueon for another great,affordable product.

well the real issue with this product is the measuring cup on the top. it can fall down or it won't come off, I would not call it really secure. The other company product seems better.

i just use it for water changes or just when i feel like the water needs to be refreshed. its quite a safe product. the only harm is if you dont follow directions.

I use it correctly. I don't know what it does accept make tap water safe for fish. All my fish are alive. So yeah good product. Get it!

How many gallons will this last for?
- This product takes 5ml to treat 10g, so depending on which bottle size you get it would treat: 236g, 472g, or 946g.

- Thank you for you question firsttimefishtank. A water conditioner should be added anytime you add new water. Once fish are in the aquarium it should also be used anytime you add new fish or change the décor within the aquarium around.

- You will need a water conditioner every time you change the water. Don,t take the fish out of the tank. Just perform 20-25% water change when needed.

Can I use with my red eared slider?
- Yes, I have a RES too and you can use it, but Repti-safe is better because it has ingredents made to premote the health of turtles. Where as this product only helps the common problems in fish.
