This product was perfect for my two mid sized dogs...works well, effective to train a younger dog to walk at an easy pace and to learn how to walk on side of other dog

I have two three-month old puppies who are inseparable. Trying to leash train them with separate leashes was a tangled nightmare. With this extension, they constantly stay next to each other which keeps them calmer and more focused on our neighborhood walks. If bro stops to rest or investigate, but sis keeps going, SHE motivates him - not me tugging on a leash. Walking with these two overly-active pups is MUCH easier now!

This Two Adjustable Leash Extension is exactly what I wanted. It works perfectly with my two chihuahuas who live in the city. It is very well-crafted and of perfect weight and size for small dogs. It saves me time, and my dogs and I love it. Thank you Petco and Petmate!

This is a dandy little gadget but the center ring IS large, so be sure whatever lead you use has a big enough clip to fit it. Actually, the one they "show" with it is probably the best.

(This product is acually a harness connector). This connector is very sturdy. It is also adjustable. The only problem that I had is that the hook on the leash - that I also bought at this time, (matching size/width) is too small to hook onto the connector's center ring. The ring that you atttach the leash to is way too big for the small hook. The small connector will need at least a medium leash (bigger attaching hook). I would have given this product 5 paws except for this.

I have large dogs, and I found this coupler just too heavy and weighted down. It felt like I had a third dog on the leash. It looks smaller then the photos show. It is much wider and bulkier then I expected. Also, the clasp isn't the best kind either.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Heavy duty. Tough enough for 2 large 70 pd dogs. Takes some getting used to - for the dogs too.

Do you have anymade of leather. I have 2 dogs and they like to bite the cloth/mesh leashes
- Petmate does offer some "leather" leashes but the "take two" is not one of them.

Would the dual dog leash adaptor work for 2 different sized dogs? I have a 12 pound Pomeranian and an 85 pound German Shepherd.
- Yes, this would allow the two to be connected to the same leash without the risk of tangling. If they of the same temperament, then you will have more success in using this product.

- I did not see this product in my Petco. I purchased it online and was very satisfied with my selection.

What is the weight limit on these?
- I don't know, but I purchased this same item for my two chihuahuas who weigh about 6 and 10 lbs respectively. It works perfectly for their weight and size. It is heavy-duty and well-crafted. I love it.
