What does Blue Wilderness Salmon dry dog food look like?
- It should look like 2 different colors, sizes & shapes of kibble. The smaller one is darker in color (close to coffee), round & these are the fatty acid supplements. The other is brownish & triangular shaped & is the salmon meal blend.

Is this okay for older dogs?
- To my knowledge, they do not make a Senior version, but I've been feeding this to my 8 yr old black lab a little over a yr. His coat is shinier & healthier since (not to mention allergies it resolved). Weight gain is a primary concern in older dogs - Senior foods tend to shave calories & cut back on protein. My dog is very active for 8, so this is not an issue for him. The omegas in this food are certainly helpful for aging joints, but I still supplement with a fish oil pill daily. I'm very happy with this product! Hope this helps!

- Nuggets are triangular and about 1/4 inch on each side. Life source bits are much smaller
