Not what I thought I was ordering

I may have been misled by the picture in the product description because I was expecting a piece of netting with some kind of canvas or vinyl trim. For the price, I thought I'd receive more than a length of vinyl (I think) mesh with nothing on the sides and edges to make it stable or attachable to something.
As far as the quality, I see no problem, and I saw a comparable price on another site, so the cost must be right. I did email the company and received a very polite email back offering a refund and return instructions, so customer service is great. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because other than my disappointment in what I received versus what I expected, everything else is great.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Unlike the first reviewer, I have been very pleased with this item. I installed it on my 6th floor balcony rail one year ago and it gives me a significant level of confidence when my first dog (who was a small puppy then) would go out in the balcony. But then unlike the first reviewer's dog, my dog (as well as my second dog now) were not the type of puppies who would chew their way out through things. My dogs are now grown (small to medium 16-lb sized) and would not fit in between my balcony rails anymore although I have kept this installed just for added safety (like sticking their head between the rails, etc). Another positive thing I love about this safety netting is that it can hardly be seen looking up all the way from the ground floor from the outside of my building. My condominium property managers are quite strict about condo owners putting 'stuff' in our balconies. No one has ever complained seeing this gate installed in the balcony.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This item looks to be a lot stronger in the picture. The item is actually flimsy plastic that a small dog could chew through very easily!!! Our dogs would run through it in a heartbeat. I would not recommend this product.

I am looking for some sort of gate that is about 105" in length
- Thanks for your question! Cardinal Gates offers the Stairway Special Outdoor Gate (Search #1455702 on PETCO.com). Ideal for decks and patios, it's the best gate out there for use outside. Aluminum construction and stainless steel hardware mean excellent durability against the elements. The bar spacing is 2.5 inches so be sure your Boston Terrier can't pass through that space. The gate features an adjustable with from 27" to 42.5". You can span the 105" you need by adding additional width extensions, sold separately. There is a 21.75" extension (Search #1455753 on PETCO.com). Each extension is fixed-width. To span 105", set the gate width at 39.75" then add three (3) 21.75" extensions to reach 105". NOTE: The entire width will open/close which is a bit much. You can make the extensions stationary using the Cardinal Gates T-bar and hinge. These are available directly from us as the manufacturer. It is a specialized accessory that PETCO.com does not currently sell. See photo below. Although this photo is indoors, you can see how it works. The extensions to the left of the baby are stationary. The gate portion is the 2 panels on the right. Also note, the T-bar is steel for strength. It will rust outdoors so you will need to treat it with rustoleum or a similar anti-rust product. Please call with questions but this is our one solution that will work for your space! Enjoy your Outdoor Gate!

can it also be used for door ways andhallways or just decks
- Not unless you have something to tie it to, because it is only netting. There is no canvas or vinyl trim and no grommets, so it would be flimsy enough for a pet to get under or around it.

We are looking for a gate for around our patio for a dog. Will the Cardinal Black outdoor safetey netting be big enough for our patio.
- I sent one answer, but am adding to it, because I don't see it posted yet. I double checked the item description and am even more displeased that I indicated in my item feedback. It may fit your patio because it is 16 feet long by 3 feet high. However, the hardware indicated in the item description is merely black plastic electrical type straps. They will last longer that the netting, which is also not as thick as it looks in the item picture. I wouldn't buy it again.
