Very happy with this light. Well made, fans are quiet, and it fit my 36 gallon bow front perfectly. I do wish the cords were just a bit longer but they get the job done.

Although the fans are little loud, the product is awesome!! The LEDS are beautiful! Great quality, doesn't feel cheap. Good construction, feel, and appearance.

I bought this Coralife T5 light fixture a year ago. So far I had two minor problems; one due to shipping, now minor problem one year later. I contacted DrsF&S & Coralife and expressed my concerns. Both time, the response was so fast that it really surprised me. I am happy that I bought from DrsF&S and a product from Coralife.
I would highly recommend this product. I used the light for fresh water aquarium. So far my fishes & plants are healthy. Every couple weeks, I had to dump out a full trash can of plants because they have grown so well (no CO2 needed believe it or not; just lots of fishes).

We tried 2 other lights before getting this one. Love the separate switches for each light. The addition of two led moon lights, is perfect. Our corals have thrived under this light! The fan isn't silent but comparing it to the others we have had it's quiet.
We ordered this on a Friday morning with next day Saturday delivery and the delivery person arrived before 9:30 am!

I use this light on my 20L reef tank. The light has 30" long lamps, you get light for the full length of the tank w/out any dark spots! My corals are growing like crazy! The moon light LEDs work pretty well but coralife should have put a third one in the middle of the fixture.

The HO light fixture is very easy to intsall. The light output makes your tank look super and your fish and reef will love it. Noise level from the cooling fans are very low. Light tubes are easy to get to for replacement. The fixture also goods good on top of your tank. Overall a very good purchase

I like the light, but in the picture it seems there are two fans in it, but there are not. Only one, the light really needs two fans in it.

Will this fit my 54 gallon corner tank if i get the 30 Inch light?

- It goes by the length of your tank. 30" light will fit a 30" length of tank.

I have a 56 gallon saltwater reef tank, measuring 30x24x18. What type of lighting is required to meet the needs of sps corals?
- Metal Halides or LED's would be required for sps corals. T5's would work on some sps but a limited number.

- Nope, You need RO if your going to setup a tank do it right, (not cheep way or lazy) learned that the hard way. It will just make it more work.

why can this light only be used over a covered aquarium? would a screen cover be acceptable or does it have to be glass?
- Screen would block some of the lighting, depends on what you're keeping in the tank. Corals, a no-no, fish would be OK.
