my cat was taken in from outside just a few months ago. He is used to nature and catching his own food. He loves this toy. It the best thing I can give him that reminds him of his old life. Brings out the hunter in him. I put the feather on a wire wand instead of a rope.. Appears its more realistic to him It also assists in keeping down his weight.

My cats love to chase the feathers and after a lot of play the feathers get worn out so this is a good replacement. You will have to replace the string too if you haven't already. My cats likes to "scissor" or cut the string so I don't leave the toy out when I'm not around..

Our cat LOVES these feathers. Just loves them. He jumps, leaps, bats with his paw, chases them, he is a lot of fun to watch while he plays with it. The downside, the feathers last maybe a week if you put it behind closed doors when your cat is not playing with it. the feathers seem to pull out of the red cap completely after a lot of hard play. We keep buying replacements because it is the one toy that he consistently seems to enjoy. So, if you decide to buy it, buy multiple replacements for it right away - you'll need it.

In concept, this is a great toy, but my cat destroyed it in 30 seconds.

My 12 year old cat had stopped playing with most of his toys or got bored easily. When I played with him with this toy, he jumped, chased and played with it for longer than he has played in a while. Very happy with it.

My cats go crazy over this toy. It provides a lot of stimulation to them and drains them of some of their energy. The only thing I wish that would be changed with this product is that the feathers would be attached a bit stronger. My cats play rough.
