My German Shepherd loves this ball! He is trying to tear apart the rope, which I expected. The ball is great. He has to bite down hard to get a good grip and that keeps his attention while challenging him! I can see his teeth marks on the ball, but the ball stays in tact as promised. I would supervise your dog while playing with this toy. His teeth seemed to stick in the ball at times and he had to carefully maneuver the ball out of his mouth. Once he got the hang of it, he was okay.

My 18 mo male Rottweiler LOVES this toy. His favorite pastime ever is to bite the rope and swing the ball like crazy all over the place. He flings the ball up in the air by the rope and chases it. He has so much fun with it. The large ball is pretty big, probably suitable only for large dogs. Although big, the ball is not too heavy.

I love this product it is durable and my dogs are constantly playing with it.

This is a great toy but way to big for my small Maltese. It would be a great toy for a bigger breed.

My golden retriever has so much fun with this. She grabs on to the rope and throws it up in the air and then chases it. She loves the larger size also which she bites into and carries around.

My Aussie loves the ball, but the rope was history in a few days.

This roped version is great for dogs with strong jaws and an inclination to chew their toys up. Our Austrailian Cattle Dog loves this thing and it's holding up better than the version with the molded handle, which he chews on.

This is strictly and outdoor toy for my 107 lb GSD. He likes to shake the bejeebees out of it and my hsband likes the fact that the rope makes a great relatively slobber free throwing handle! Very durable and fun for big dogs!
