Pet fountains filter and circulate your pet's drinking water to inhibit bacteria growth and keep water cleaner and fresher than standing bowl water. Drinking enough water keeps your pet healthy and feeling great. Your pet needs 1 ounce of water per 1 pound of body weight every day. Keeping your pet hydrated helps prevent urinary and kidney problems and improve metabolism and temperature regulation. Drinking more water also helps sick or injured pets recover faster.

Questions
How often do the filters need replacing?
- They recommend replacing the filter every two weeks when you wash the unit and replace the water. The filters can be costly and wasteful bug I found a refillable filter on eBay that has worked fine for me.

The water pump has quit working. Which brand to I purchase for a replacemnt?
Where can I find a replacement pump?
- I did a Google search and got in touch with the company. They sell replacement pieces.

Do you have the stainless steel version of the 360 fountain?
- Petco sells both models/versions. I personally have one of each.

How Do order the Stainless Steel Drinkwater Fountain and its cost?
How do I get the stainless steel bowl I saw in the store?
- The stainless steel bowl you saw in the store is actually another model. The Drinkwell 360 Fountain is available in either plastic or stainless steel. Petco sells both the plastic and stainless models.

how much water does this hold? can it be used without the filter?
- Holds about a gallon. The button is a dish, so you can use it without ANY added filters, etc. The water goes through a housing and up through the top, so, yes, you can use it without a filter, but, why bother with it if you're NOT using a filter?

stopped working i think its the plug
- This is a great fountain but it's not perfect. Mine is over three years old and I've had to "restart" mine several times. The trick is to completely remove the pump from the bowl and clean the stuff in the grill lines beneath the pump. If you use a good light, you may see fur, lint or other stuff in the motor's filter. Just use a good jet of water to blast it out and it should work. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the pump to resume after cleaning.

Where is this fountain made?
- The one I have was made in China. I received it one year ago today. The unit worked fine until two weeks ago when the teeth on the flow mechanism above the filter started to break off. Now there are only two teeth left, the flow cannot be regulated, and I must find out where to get a replacement part. Can anyone help me with finding parts for this unit?

Is this battery operated or is it electric?
- It's electric.
