Cockatiels are supposed to eat this?

lark

I’d like to know if whom ever formulated this mix actually has ever owned a cockatiel! I’ve had cockatiels for almost 30 years and 90% of this mixture would never be touched by them. Don’t waste your money (and this is really overpriced as well)

No, I do not recommend this product.

The company has reconfigured this formula. It is not the same and I have been ordering this brand for years. My birds as well are not happy with it either. Bring back the old formula. If it was not broken, why fix it???? Unhappy birds, unhappy customer!

No, I do not recommend this product.

The new packaging looks great but the ingredients are sub standard. Not what I expect from this brand. Bring back the old formula. My birds are not happy.

Too different from what went before Cockatiel blend

This new version of cockatiel food is completely different from what my parrots ate for years. Seeds are much smaller, pellets are tiny pink dots. This is more like the kaytee treats in a jar. Price increase is unwarranted especially since appearance and quality are less. Please go back to previous version, this is a failure. Not what one expects from your company.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Are the dried fruits sulfur-free and without pesticides?

  1. Thank you for your question. We cannot guarantee all fruit used in this mix is free of sulfur. The Papaya is natural and will not have sulfur. We cannot say the same for the raisins or bananas. Any pesticide residues must be in tolerance with the USA EPA set limits and we do not guarantee that pesticides were not used.
