EcoBio-Stones are made of volcanic rock and white cement and are infused with unique and effective beneficial bacteria spores, which are activated by water and organic waste. It makes aquarium tanks clear and clean by regularly dispersing beneficial bacteria into your tank. It lasts for 1.5 to 2 years.

Rinse EcoBio-Stones well with chlorine-free water and soak overnight before placing in your aquarium. If you have an airstone, place it near the airstone. EcoBio-Stone M is for use in aquarium tanks from 15 to 40 gallons. Depending on the size and condition of your tank, it will normally take from 2 to 4 weeks to see results. However, it can be as short as two days and as long as 3 months (very rare). If medication is necessary to treat sick fish, either remove the fish or the block until treatment is completed. The bacteria in EcoBio-Stones are viable at pH 3 - 11 and at temperatures of 50 degrees F to 149 degrees F. The most effective water temperatures are from 77 degrees F to 140 degrees F.

These blocks are amazing. Struggled for so long to get rid of the cloudiness in our tank. After a few months, this has totally fixed the issues...water is crystal clear, filter stays much cleaner and more time between having to change the filter. Worth the investment.

I found one of these in my local Petco and was skeptical but figured I'd give it a try. I have a 30 gallon tank that is slightly overstocked with cichlids so anything that helps keep the water clear between water changes is great. Not only did the rock keep the water clear but with biweekly water changes the water always tests perfect and there is no "pond" smell when you walk by the tank. I highly recommend this product.

I'm not sure how much it is doing what it's supposed to do but I do have it in my tank. It's been there for about two weeks Doesn't seem to bother the fish

It has been in my 37gal tank of goldfish for a little over a week now and I have noticed a marginal differance in the water quailtiy/clearity compared to before placing the stone into the tank. Looking forward to the progress over the next couple of weeks as the instuctions indicate it normally takes such before the full effects are noticed. A pricey rock indeed but I would recommend this as well as purchase one more for my tank.

Even though these "stones" are pricey...they are absolutely the very best for a fish tank The water clears instantly, and it stays that way....I have a 60 gal and 90 gal tank...the water is so very clear...The last stones I bought lasted 6+ years...Don't be afraid to buy these - Thanks Petco

It should. It saved me a few $'s with the free shipping when I ordered mine. The easiest way to see if it does, is to add it to your cart, then go to checkout (don't pay yet), then check your shipping options.
