A great terrarium with lots of room and easy access

This 20-gal terrarium gives my Leopard Gecko plenty of room and I have easy access through the front. The included background looks great and conceals cords entering the tank. The tank arrived well packaged in perfect condition.

I ordered about 5 items each came at a different time within 2 weeks then wen the tank came it was shattered and I had to return it...luckily I found a new tank for $100 less that was twice the size and came with a stand as well as a huge water bowl and 2 sturdy hides....I was so excited for my first reptile and then I was even more let down

I was worried the tank would be damaged in shipping as it is mostly glass. I was pleasantly surprised, no damage. Very large, lots of room for our 12 year old corn snake. I like the removable screen top and the safety lock on the big front doors keeps him safely inside. The fake rock wall on the back of the tank looks real. Very Happy.

I own 7 terrariums and one of them is a vivarium.
The Exo Terra terrariums that I own start from the 12"x12"x12" all the way up to the 36"x18"x18" . Do I own too many, I think not. All of these terrariums are in my Living room and we still have 11 more rooms to go. I used to have 2 fish tanks as terrariums then I moved up to the Exo Terra terrariums and have never looked back. I have NEVER had a single problem with this product. I am a Master Chef and take pride in my food as in my hobbies.

Does anyone know the height of the Vents below the door on the 24" x 18" x 12" model ?
- The height from the base to the bottom of the ventilation strip is approximately 3".

What size is good for a small snake? Also what is a good, small beginner snake?
- If you're just starting out with a baby ie: 16 - 18" you can get away with using a 10 - 20 Gal. (which is what we did for a very short time). A full grown Ball needs at least a 40 gal space, though. A regular 40 - 50 gallon tank would be the most economical solution but if you have your eyes on an Exo Terra, the 24" x 18" x 18" ( 33 gal) or the 36" x 18" x 18" ( 50 Gal.). The tank / terrarium my sons Ball is in now (in the pics) is a 40 gal tank w/ 1/2 screen, 1/2 plexi-glass top that we got at Petco. I made the rocky background and added it later to give it a little extra "character". I'd actually recommend that over the Exo Terras for a Ball Python. Hope that helped.

- Yes it can, as long as the proper accessories are used to maintain the requirements of the plant's environment (i.e. humidity, ventilation, etc).
