Sturdy Light

I like the feel of this light. Unlike the low cost metal lights this is replacing, this one feels sturdy and gives me a more secure feel that it will stay in place.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Clamp

I like the features on this clamp lamp more than those I have used in the past. I like the toggle switch to turn off/on instead of a wheel and the clamp seems very stable applied to the side of my turtle's tank.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This clamp lamp works well for my baby sulcata tortoise. I have a heat night bulb in it and he sleeps under it every night.

Excellent Lamp

I love these lamps, and so does my turtle. As soon as I turn it on, her swims over and stays under it for hours. I use it with a Zilla Blue daylight bulb, and it works great. I only wish that the cord was a bit longer, but I can fix that with an extension cord.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  1. It really doesn't say here does it? The Fluker's clamp lamp I purchased had a inline on/off switch.

what is the apropriate size for a russian turlt; in a 55 g aquarium?

Can you use a smaller wattage bulb?

        1. It is perfectly ok to use a lower wattage bulb, such as the UVA/B bulbs that are 13watts.

What light bulb do I use for my hermie?

For the Fluker's Clamp Lamp, what bulbs are compatible with it? Mine is 75 watts.

How do I put the lamp clamp together?

            1. go the web site listed on the box. They have instructions, and, if i remember correctly, a video.

            Which is better

            1. I would just buy one small one, reptiles need to be able to move out of the heat if they wish to.

My 5.5" dome light fixture came with a 50 wattage bulb, does it make a difference if I use a higher wattage bulb?

            1. On a 5.5 inch dome light fixture you should not exceed 75 watts.
